We require responsibilities of the parents, leaders or sponsors to those who wish to participate in this program in order to meet with group or individuals and discuss or advise them on the appropriate adventurer/volunteer travel selection before they leave; registration fee and application form is submitted for approval, contact the program coordinator/manger to ensure that the program director with the operational office are aware of your adventure /volunteer travel schedule

Project Summary

Our teaching program benefits local Ugandan 0rphnage school/centers by teaching them the useful language, English. Science, Mathematics and Life Skills that includes;
music, sports and games, hand crafts etc.
The demand for teaching is becoming more important with all Various Volunteers attractions presently luring tourists to this lukewarm welcoming country Uganda.

Volunteers add value to life of children and to the level of Global understanding as volunteer-teacher, you will teach only for 2-4 hours a day, five days a week.

There are already existing class teachers in schools; volunteers offer many efforts; including presenting and applying different teaching methods/techniques, giving opinion on solving communication barriers and offering appropriate set of course for classroom. The demand for teaching is becoming more important with all various clients attractions presently luring tourists to this lukewarm welcoming country Uganda.

Are you looking to take a gap-year? Whether you are taking a gap year before university, after university or wanting to take a vacation out from work (also known as a career break) then gap-adventure travel and expeditions/volunteering-Africa has got something for you.

Volunteer profile: The school runs for at least 10 hours (morning) every day, Monday to Friday. Saturday Sunday and Public holidays the school is closed. Volunteers who will be working in the area will be close to most tourist attractions in Uganda Patience Creative and flexible to work in an environment with limited resources Interest in working with children Interest in children and teaching or any other activities Basic knowledge English Teach English, science, math, physics, biology, chemistry, music etc, Training soccer both boys and girls and other sports, Hard working, Home visits, Independent, flexible and team player

Duration of the project:
Minimum. 2weeks and above;

Volunteers are expected every Monday of the Week.

Orientation: On arrival, the volunteers will receive an orientation to come to understand the various program, share their fears and expectations, participate in team building activities, and get familiar with the culture of the community, etc.

Application and registration fee: US $100 which is later deducted from your program fee. This fee covers advertising, program promotion, and office expenses (rent, and utilities).
